Oppo to Be First to Offer Corning's Gorilla Glass 6

Global tech company Corning on Monday reported that Oppo will be the primary mobile device producer to embrace its most recent cover glass innovation Gorilla Glass 6.

Oppo's new leader cell phone using Gorilla Glass 6 is slated to discharge in the coming weeks, the company said in an announcement. For the present, it is unverifiable which of the up and coming cell phones from Oppo - the F9, F9 Pro, or R17 - will wear the new glass from Corning.

In lab tests, Gorilla Glass 6 survived 15 drops from one meter onto harsh surfaces though aggressive glass structures, for example, pop lime and aluminosilicate, did not survive the principal drop.

"We are eager to have Oppo embrace Gorilla Glass 6," John Bayne, Vice President, and General Manager, Corning Gorilla Glass, said in an announcement.

Revealed in July, Gorilla Glass 6 is the company's most sturdy cover glass to date.

"Oppo's new leader model will give customers, who rely upon their cell phone for each association in their advanced lives, expanded security against numerous drops," Bayne included.

Gorilla Glass has been composed into in excess of six billion devices by in excess of 45 noteworthy brands.

With its optical lucidity, contact affectability, scratch resistance, effective remote charging and upgraded solidness, Gorilla Glass 6 is set to empower new plan patterns.
